Journal Entry Posting – Involved in the preparation and posting of journal entries and ensures that transactions are properly coded to correct accounts to adhere to established controls, accepted accounting, and internal control standards. Bank Reconciliation – Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for daily operating banks accounts, resolve reconciliation discrepancies, and ensure that discrepancies are communicated to the responsible team for resolution, prepare adjusting journal entry to correct the appropriate general ledger accounts. Month-end Closing Tasks – Executes month end closing tasks through preparation and posting of manual journal entries into the accounting system which includes Expense and Revenue accruals, Expense allocations, Intercompany Transactions, Bank Transactions and performing adjusting entries. Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Analysis - Perform monthly Balance Sheet Account reconciliation with documentation using Blackline system and provide ageing of open items in balance sheet, provide explanations and analysis for each open item, and suggest necessary actions to clear the open items. Rent Analysis and Flux Analysis – Analyze monthly rent expenses for each entity assigned and provide analysis on significant increases or decreases in the value of each account for the month as compared with prior month’s results and communicate the findings with financial controllers and Operations. Process Documentation – Involved in the preparing of desktop procedures for some processes/tasks assigned and improve documentation of processes/tasks. Process Migration - Involved in offsite and onsite work shadow of accounting tasks from offshore entities and preparation of desktop procedures (DTP) and development of reports for the tasked being transitioned. Fixed Assets – Involved in the fixed asset activities such as fixed asset capitalization, disposal, retirements, and reconciliation. Process Improvement - Involved in some process transformation projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve process cycle time. Year-end audit requirements - involved in the preparation of reports needed for the year-end audit. Intercompany - Responsible for intercompany AR/AP accounting, resolution of intercompany mismatches, preparation and sending out of confirmation statements to correct intercompany partners for possible mismatch resolution.
