Recent experience: I am Senior Researcher at the Smart Data Group which is part of SINTEF Digital. I am interested to investigate how to optimize the design and implementation of information models (ontology libraries) to improve industry processes and operations. These information models are built and queried using W3C recommendations such as OWL 2, RDFS and SPARQL. Profile summary: Extensive experience as engineer and researcher on the following domains: knowledge representation and reasoning, ontology engineering, knowledge and information management, Semantic Web, data modelling, and data, service and process integration. Qualified team and project manager with a demonstrated ability to ensure the smooth running of large multinational R&D&I and industrial projects. Versed in coordinating and writing grant proposals for European and National funding bodies. Broad experience as consultant to foster R&D&I initiatives and to lead and contribute in the definition and implementation of information management systems, which includes data and information modelling and integration for different business domains such as engineering, energy (including oil & gas), maritime, finance, civil aviation and manufacturing.
