Franco Skrzypczak

I am a senior full-stack software engineer with experience in telecoms, banking, retail and lately, the technology sector. My professional career spans for more than 20 years which includes a lot of hands-on experience with Java (certified) and 8 years of experience with various frontend frameworks such as React, Angular and Vue to name a few. My experience includes working with some of the main cloud platforms out there such as AWS, Google Cloud (AppEngine/Firebase) and Azure. In some of my projects I have dealt with complicated architectural issues and I had to implement my fair share of MicroServices. I can do "DevOps" and in the past I have clicked together build pipelines on Azure and I also dabbled with Docker. A while ago I discovered that I actually do have a creative streak and I find frontend work really enjoyable. This means that I and don't mind getting my hands dirty with the nitty-gritty HTML/CSS pixel-pushing stuff that my fellow backend devs usually avoid like the plague. People say I play well in teams (except Rugby!). All-in-all, I consider myself a very flexible technical all-rounder with an eye for design. Finally, if relevant, I am European / South African and I have a temporary work Visa to work in Australia.
