Business can be good for people and the planet. I know this because I’ve created several successful sustainable business solutions throughout my career. I started my journey in sustainability in the 90's when very few people were talking about it, determined to create a more sustainable economy from inside the corporate structure. I vowed to be a change agent for more sustainable business models that are good for people, profits and the planet. While climbing my way through the ranks and succeeding in various business growth and sustainability roles, including my current position as Chief Growth & Sustainability Officer at YUPIX, I’ve helped companies reach revenue and sustainability goals, led over 100 major projects internationally, and helped large global organizations to create more efficient, profitable and sustainable operations. Squarely at the center of the national conversation surrounding sustainability, I’ve served as the regional convenor of the 2021 Food Systems Summit Dialogue as a Board Member of the United Nations Association Miami and founded the Better Food Alliance, a nonprofit that aims to create bridges in the fragmented food system to better provide communities with nutritious food. My mission has always been to help companies in any industry – whether it’s agriculture, food, or technology – become more profitable and sustainable. That’s why I pivoted my career to the tech industry. As everyday solutions continue to turn digital, it’s crucial for tech companies to operate sustainably, and I’m dedicated to applying my knowledge and experience to help make the tech industry’s operations better for people and the planet. With over 20 years of experience in corporate leadership, management consulting, and entrepreneurship, I’ve grown to understand that systemic transformation is ignited at the intersection of passion, innovation, data-driven management, and strategic partnerships. Everything we do should be driven by sustainability. My purpose is to help companies do better and play an integral role in preserving the resources of our beautiful planet for future generations.
