Fred Wilson

As the guiding force behind Kelsh Wilson’s print and Web practices, Fred Wilson draws on over two decades of experience at running his own marketing and design business. In 1989, he founded Wilson Design Associates, after holding the position of art director at the Woods Group in the Baltimore/Washington area and at Kramer, Miller, Lomden, Glassman in Philadelphia. Fred merged Wilson Design with Kelsh Marr Studios in 1992 to form Kelsh Wilson Design. Working with Nick Kelsh, he created a firm that integrated the disciplines of graphic design, photography, and research/writing under one roof—a unique advantage to clients seeking communications services. Fred also has special expertise in managing communications projects for colleges, universities, and independent schools, most recently overseeing capital campaign and admissions projects for Princeton Day School, Cabrini College, Choate Rosemary Hall, Temple University, Oregon State University, Murray State University, Rutgers University and City of Hope.
