My expertise comes from 15 years lending to small and medium-size business at a variety of banks; owning and operating a franchise, a masters degree in city planning; 25 years working for local and state governments; many years as an economic development pro bridging the gap between the private and public sectors, 28 years volunteering for a large micro-enterprise lender, and eight years as an elected municipal official.
