Started working for the Department of Agriculture,Forestry and Fisheries in February 2015,in the Communication Services Directorate. Acquired adequate experience which will enable employment in any communication environment. Assisted in producing and distributing newspaper clippings for media monitoring purposes and producing statistical reports. Produced articles for the directorate publications and established relationships with the media, continuously updating media list. During my internship period at the department, I assisted in promoting external public awareness,which required branding.I assisted in drafting media releases by conducting research and participated in PR campaigns and learned communication principles. Before joining the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, I worked for a community radio station as a Marketing Assistant. Coordinating marketing products and ensuring the positive image of the organisation. I possess five years combined experience in office administration as an Administration Assistant and a Practice Manager. A creative at heart, I thrive on challenges with a willingness to go above and beyond my duties. Always looking to grow and add value to those within my circle.
