In the past decade as the head of product development, I’ve been working on perfecting our Enterprise Architecture software SAMU, which helps Enterprise Architects build more reliable, transparent and complex structures. SAMU combines all the experiences we have gained in the sector while working with loads of industry leading organizations such as DU Pont Pioneer, Telekom (T-Mobile), OTP Group, Omantel, Erste Bank, ect. We believe we have one of the most architect friendly EA tools in the market, made by architects for architects. I am on a mission to educate Enterprise Architects and contribute to this amazing community by sharing my experiences and knowledge that I have gained during the past 20 years while working closely with dozens and dozens of organisations through helping their architectural teams. While participating in our client’s architecture teams as a consultant and seeing their varied architecture environments, has always inspired me. I have yet to have seen any boring structure out of the thousands I have reviewed, which is probably not normal... :) During workshops I feel most happy when customers talk about their architecture, which I love to draw on a whiteboard and at the end of the meeting everybody takes pictures of the drawing, telling me that they are finally starting to understand how it their organization works. This is what motivates me the most. SAMU differs from the rest of the market competitors, as our solution is structured as a framework. We provide a well-defined and carefully designed best practice model for the initial setup of the system, which contains the meta-model, reports, example data, symbols, visualizations, etc. However, the beauty of SAMU is that it is completely flexible and almost anything can be customized. Our customers typically fine-tune our best practice model, therefore they can adopt the tool to meet its unique company specific situations. In this way SAMU can live together with our customer’s needs.
