Gabriel Diaz Orueta

Since 1983 until 1988 worked for the Solid State Physics Department at the UAM (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), where he got his P.H.D. In Physics in 1988, developing “ab-initio” techniques and teaching as an assistant Professor. Since 1988 until 1996 worked for Digital Equipment Corporation at Madrid in different support and education jobs. Since 1996 until 1999 worked for Global Knowledge, as training coordinator for different curricula, especially information security courses. In 1999 he founded his own company, ADSO Consultoría y Formación, specialized in information security and communications training and consultancy. Since 2002 he works as Professor for the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, UNED, teaching several courses, and investigating in new e-learning methods and its security implications. He is author of different publications and of several books in the fields of information security, technology enhanced learning and electronic design.
