Gabrielle Celeste

I'm a creative and dedicated individual with a passion for art and personal expression who would love to work at a museum. I obtained my M.A. In Art History where I wrote my thesis on Otto Marseus van Schrieck's still-life paintings, I obtained my B.A. In Art History with Museum Studies and have minored in Philosophy and Studio Art. My focus mainly lies with the Italian and Northern Renaissances, Baroque, and Dutch Golden Age, but have knowledge and admiration for every period in art history from pre-historic to the 21st-century. My education, along with a study abroad in Italy and internship with the Castellani Art Museum have provided me with many experiences and skills. While interning I assisted in curating the pop art gallery from the “Highlights: The Castellani Collection” exhibition held in conjunction with the museum’s 25th anniversary gala. Along with curatorial experience, I have knowledge of handling, framing, installing, and cataloging art as well as collection management. With years spent in retail, I also have have excellent team work, interpersonal, and visual merchandising skills.
