About
I am a graduate of Emporia State University with my bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in ecology and biodiversity. Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska Omaha. I have experience performing statistical surveys for various wind farms as well as coordinating with the various stake holders that owned these properties. I have experience performing land health surveys using the Bureau of Land Management's AIM (Assessment Inventory Monitoring) protocol and am certified to drive 4wd vehicles under the BLM and have experience with ATV operation, chainsaw, and prescribed burns. I also have experience sampling fish with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. I am thoroughly familiar with SAS (Statistical Analysis Software), Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. I also have public speaking experience and have presented projects at scientific gatherings such as the Kansas Herpetological Society. Throughout college I was very involved and was placed in various leadership positions such as Academic Chair and Financial Chair of Sigma Phi Epsilon as well as president of the Environmental Club. Through these organizations, I helped organize various charity events as well as coordinated with other club members to complete numerous tasks while maintaining a budget and working under time constraints. In addition, I was also a member of Kansas Tri Beta, the National Biology Honors Society.
