Garvit Sukhija

I am Garvit Sukhija, a 20-year-old, pursuing BE and MSc. Chem from BITS Pilani, Pilani campus. I originate from Haryana, a former national table-tennis player too, and have won many medals at the state level also. I have been an elected representative of 5500 people of BITS Pilani. Responsible for all mess operations and working of 150+ employees and handling the annual budget of INR 20 Crores. Also, being a business enthusiast, I have worked with two firms. I was a Business development intern at Niroggyan(A HealthTech startup) and a Growth Product Management Intern at Languify (An EdTech platform), reflecting that I have good sales, communication skills and business acumen. I am also a car maniac, which made me a Braking Subsystem member at Team Gravity, which works to create a NASA HERC rover. Our team stood 5th amongst more than 40 teams from all over the world representing themselves at a competition hosted by NASA. I love playing table tennis. I was the captain of my team and was decorated to be the first person to take the school team to the national levels. I was also a member of an NGO that helps injured animals who got no one to take care. I have good leadership qualities and team-building capacity. People generally love me for my calmness and helpful nature. Since I am a very sensitive person, so to express myself, I write poems. I am a member of Poetry Club BITS Pilani. I am a nature loving person and think that boundaries should not divide people. With this in heart, I want all the countries to live peacefully and prosper.
