Gary Braham

I was a high school earth science teacher in NY for 16 years. Since adopting the Danielson framework I was consistently ranked as highly effective, while my students were highly successful on their end of the year regents exam. I stayed active as a club advisor, as well as a soccer and wrestling coach. We moved to Maryland and the D.C. Area last summer for my wife's career. I spent a year as a middle school science teacher. My students performed well on their county assessments and showed growth throughout the year. However, the job was outside my content area and the grade range I am the most experienced with. I am looking to get back to a high school earth science classroom. If this is not possible, I have had an interest in data for my own personal projects involving education. If I cannot find a classroom position I would enjoy going into education policy or am open to new opportunities not involving education.
