I am am Infrastructure Engineer with experience in performing diagnostics and resolving technical issues via telephone, email or from desk-side. I am a problem solver who wholly enjoys a challenge and has a passion for new and upcoming technologies. I work well under pressure whether under my own volition or as part of a team. I have good communication skills and a strong attention to detail. I provide telephone & remote technical support, server builds and installations. I work on a range of issues including but not limited to network connectivity, peripheral connectivity, back-up, recovery, disk space, firewalls, anti-virus, applications. I carry out administration tasks in Windows Active Directory such as, creation of user accounts and set up new, rebuild old laptops and PCs configure Smartphones, Tablets and other devices for Mail, 3G networking etc. And a range of other ICT administration activities including file permissions, desk phones setup along with the below : • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems • Basic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services and remote desktop. • Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets • Act as the single point of contact to the employees for all types of service requests • Monitor and maintain the Back-up tapes and Veeam / Symantec back-up software • Monitor resource schedules to ensure prompt time entry on service requests • Communication with employees as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. • Restoring mistakenly deleted network drives, personal folders or crashed servers etc.
