That the impact the workforce has on the product and quality of the goods and services is underestimated and underappreciated by senior leaders. 2. That once the intelligence and the motivation of the workforce is aligned with the purpose of the organization there is little chance for failure. 3. The greatest risk within an organization is based on the decisions made by the leadership. The greatest reward given to the organization is the realtionship between the leadership and the workforce. 4. Quality is a tool that is overlooked, and appreciated most when something goes wrong. 21 years of Baldrige taught me: 1. Few leaders view the organization as a system that creates an output for customers through processes that work interdependently to optimize and sustain the organization. Goal: Spread my knowledge as well as learn from others to make a difference. Specialties: Facilitation of groups and teams, training and mentoring in the field of quality, performance excellence and continuous improvement.
