Gavin Adams

As an architect I am passionate about the built environment and the impact that we have in creating and shaping the spaces that support, define and bring value to our lives. I am currently a Director of Architecture at GHDWoodhead and am also the National Transport Facilities leader for GHD.In my previous role as GHDWoodhead Studio Director, I successfully led the GHDWoodhead architectural studio in South Queensland for five and a half years, where I oversaw the significant growth of the studio and the appointment of a number of key personnel. GHDWoodhead is a WA100 listed, international architecture practice and was awarded the 2018 Harry Siedler Award for Australian Architecture and the inaugural AIA National Sustainable Architecture Award 2018.In addition to my GHDWoodhead roles, I am a GHD Principal and as National Transport Facilities leader I have responsibility to pursue, win and deliver transportation projects across Australia. I play an integral role within our South Queensland team, as Project Director for regionally significant Property & Buildings opportunities. GHD is an employee owned, professional services company with over 10,000 people in 200+ offices on five continents.
