Gavin Hughes

I am a skilled project manager, producer, and game creator with development experience in C++ as well as JavaScript - managed with GitHub. I am particularly interested in artificial intelligence in games as well as game design, and am an aspiring lender 3D modeler, with significant interest in animation. I spend almost my whole day listening to many different genres of music...I try to listen to at least one new album every day. I analyze and fix computer hardware and software problems quickly. I love word games, especially Scrabble and Bananagrams, and I enjoy reading contemporary fiction. I play shooters and RPGs as well as a lot of basketball. My dodgeball team won the campus championship at UC Santa Cruz in 2015. At UCSC I was the lead producer and translator on my senior game project titled "Say La Vie," [link upcoming] for teaching very basic French language and culture to a wide audience. I love working with kids, and am fluent in English and French, and can communicate adequately in Spanish.
