I am an enthusiastic self starting and highly capable Senior Software Developer who has 4+ years experience developing Web Applications with PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS and other web technologies, and building desktop apps with Java. I love solving architecturally challenging and intricate software problems. My favorite language is Java, because of it’s power, speed and the vast library that ships with it. I spend most of my time developing in PHP mostly because it reduces development time and it’s easy to find other PHP developers to collaborate with. I use the MVC approach to developing Web Applications with PHP as this helps to separate the various layers of the application and makes long term code maintenance easier. I am also familiar with PHP web frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel and Symfony; I believe in using whatever framework is best for the project. Also, integrating with external APIs like CurrencyLayer API, Xero API, Facebook API, LinkedIn API and several others My client projects include developing a website that helps lawyers search for doctors with a certain mile radius(specified by the site admin) of the typed in postcode, and a site to aggregate training courses and M.S,C courses from course providers(such as Universities and training centers) and providing access to it through a website.
