From an early age I’ve always been deeply interested in computing. 💻 💽 What started as an interest in just using them developed into a growing desire to understand how a collection of simple ideas and components can interact to produce an entity as complex and adaptable as a computer. Back in high school, I remember learning Visual basic and developing basic applications out of interest and now after many years, I have not only built various solutions but have discovered that Software interests me equally as much I enjoy researching new developments in the IT industry. Pursuing my passion for computers, I completed my 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 where I learnt fundamentals of Software Engineering, Object oriented programming (OOP) principles, Data analysis, Cloud Technologies, Agile frameworks as well as programming languages such as Java, HTML, CSS and PHP. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 🏆 Designed and developed progressive web apps, integrating enhanced UI/UX principles and best practices, which helped to increase direct traffic for the website by 35% in 1 month. 🏆 Implemented Confluence as a collaboration tool which helped to identify risks, issues and dependencies of each sprint that led to complete 3 releases per month. 🏆 Implemented CI/CD pipelines and completed deployments and key migrations to AWS cloud which led to a reduction of maintenance costs by 12%.
