I have now over 18 years experience in localization and technology, having focused on the applications and technology side for the last 15 years. My current role is the Director of the Technology Project Management group working with a team of Technology PMs, Solutions team and a number of other diverse teams to plan and deploy main applications and portals for the Welocalize users, vendors and clients. I worked as the deployment manager for the last 6 years previously working with users, support and developers teams to create strong and scalable release and support processes to accommodate the continuous growth of the company. This role also included managing the MT Project Managers group, in charge of creating and delivering tailored MT solutions for some of our main customers. Previously I have worked with the HiberniaEvros Technology Group for around 3 years, first as the scheduling manager for the Managed Services Division with a support team that attended our client technical needs including sites ranging from SMEs to Enterprise Level Customers. I then moved to the role of program manager putting in place a certification and training plan for HETG a project that allowed me to learn extensively about partners and certifications programs for some of the biggest software & hardware companies, like Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, VMware and HP. Before that I worked in Transware for 10 years in a number of roles, from IT administration to eventually moving to the Software Project Manager for the GlobalSight team. Following the acquisition of the GlobalSight company in late 2005, Transware acquired a web based application to assist our operations process and integrate closer with our client processes. To support this technology, I programme managed the work of our applications team. This role allowed me to learn about the requirements to develop, deploy and support of global applications. I hold an Honours Business and IT degree from Trinity College, Dublin
