I am an associate professor and clinical psychologist in the School of Psychology at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga NSW. I have been a clinical psychologist for over 20 years, and a university academic for more than 15 years.I have 3 areas of research focus: anxiety, stress and trauma; police and emergency services, and; rural mental health.Clinically I have specialized in working with anxiety, trauma and depression (including with Vietnam Veterans, as coordinator of a rural depression and anxiety clinic, with major physical trauma victims at Royal Melbourne Hospital, and in private practice), as well as working with low and high prevalence mental disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings, in both rural and metropolitan areas.
