*Growing up on Scenic Loop Road and having grandparents in the heart of Kendall County and minutes from what was Kelly AFB, my roots have always been in the limestone hills of south central Texas and San Antonio. My father worked for the Texas Highway Department and was part of the team that designed some of the original Loop 410, IH10 and US281 highways that are essential to everyday life in San Antonio and the surrounding area.
