I conceive, produce and direct emotionally engaging stories including branded content, commercials, documentaries, web-series, television, social media, dynamic creative and custom experiences. I relish the role of finding and developing creativity in others and leading production and strategy teams that collaborate to achieve unique creativity and drive significant business results. A maker and inquisitive storyteller. A tinkerer and a never-satisfied seeker of innovation and transformational ideas. My pursuits and passions have been expressed in award-winning content, business solutions, brand experiences and a zeal for the never been done before, all rooted in storytelling that drives human emotion.From my grandfather teaching me to fix engines and hot-rod at age five, to making furniture with the sage guidance of Roy Underhill and Jens Risom, to cooking carbonara with Jonathan Waxman and Tyler Florence, to riding across China on sidecar motorcycles along the Great Wall, or working with legends of the dry lakes like Alex Xydias and Craig Breedlove; the life affirming creative inputs influence and inspire the professional outputs. I have benefited from exceptional diversity of thought and experience by collaborating with innovative leaders at MediaCom, @Radical.Media, CNBC, Food Network & Cooking Channel as well as strategic consulting with PwC and Deloitte. Through this work I have spent significant time living and working in New York, Los Angeles, London, Stuttgart, Beijing and Jakarta.My work has earned Emmy nominations, Cannes Lions, Media Plan of the Year, Festival of Media, Creative Media Awards, OMMA, The Internationalist, One Show, and the particular pride of the admiration of my toddler nieces. I often speak on panels and leading media and entertainment industry events including SxSW, AdWeek, SEMA, etc.
