My field of expertise is located within the area of energy and process engineering - becomming/being a key expert is the goal. Already during my studies I focussed on gasification and combustion of mainly solid fuels. Thermochemical conversion in fixed bed, in moving bed as well as under fluidizing conditions are familiar to me. Working on chemical-looping technologies and on indirect gasification, I got familiar with most relevant minerals and their transformation under the relevant conditions as well. The minerals lead my way to ore sintering - a process involving both high temperature conversion as well as a lot of knowledge in mechanical process engineering (screening, agglomeration, etc. ). I am used to work in academic and industrial environment with experimental rigs or on a more theoretical basis. Taking responsibility for the work and the generation of results in the right time frame and according to budget is my goal. I have experience in leading student projects, scientific and industrial projects. All involving different partners and disciplines.
