I am a successful business leader who can demonstrate exceptional judgement, energy, foresight, and entrepreneurialism gained at Board Level within the property services sector. I am enjoying a career that started working one mile underground, has included the challenge of driving exponential growth in an international hard FM services business and the engineering of a successful exit via trade sale of an FM start up to British Land PLC. At the core of my success is a belief that customer service delivers sustainable profitable growth, but to drive this customer experience the team must want to go the extra mile. This discretional effort can only be accessed through strong visible leadership, clear direction, proper support and the fair, but firm, managing up or out of non-performers. Good performing people deliver great customer service that leads to a collaborative culture with customers which is the foundation for sustainable profitable growth. I am experienced in writing and implementing business plans that cover the generation of cash, the delivery of profit and sales growth. I have a natural transformational management style as a result of my involvement in leading numerous change programmes including post acquisition integration, re-structure and strategic contract mobilisation. I have a high work ethic and lead by example. I understand how to tailor my approach to the audience to enable me to build relationships quickly at any level I sustain relationships by being open and honest, retaining trust and integrity at all times. I completed the FT NED to improve my understanding of complex stakeholder relationships.
