I became a student ambassador at the University of Chichester which meant me being a face of the university when candidates came for their interviews. I meet and greet candidates for the University interviews and then take a group of approximately 8 candidates, plus any parents which wished to join, on a tour around the University campus. Being a student ambassador also involved attending meeting to ensure our University knowledge was up-to-date and if there are is any new information to then inform the candidates. Doing this role meant that I was one of thee first people the candidates met on their interview day so had to warm, welcoming and able to answer any questions in order for them to feel comfortable. Haskins Garden Centre Restaurant: June 2015 – present I currently work at Haskins Garden Centre in West End. My responsibilities include liaising with customers of various age ranges; whilst delivering excellent customer service, stock take, training new and current members of staff, dealing with money and complaints, and being on hand as much as possible as I am cross-trained in many different sections within the store. Within this role, I like to be efficient and organised and am always ready to approach customers and with a friendly positive nature, and have received lots of positive feedback about the customer service people have received. Whilst working at Haskins for over 3 years now, I have had the opportunity to develop some important inter-personal skills, also focusing on my communication and responsibility.
