Georgie Haslam

In 2021 I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering (BEng). Now working at Vistry Partnerships as an assistant technical coordinator. -2021 ICE Student Prize Winner, awarded to the student who performs the best throughout their Civil Engineering course at university. -Awarded the ICE regional prize for the best graduating student in Civil Engineering. -Awarded the Civil Engineering prize for most outstanding project work by my university. -In July 2020 I completed my year in industry placement with Curtins, working in the structures team. -Student member of the IStructE, ICE and CIOB. -Social Networking Officer for ICE Graduate & Students Committee in the West Midlands year 19/20. -STEM Ambassador. -In October 2019 I was awarded an IStructE regional student prize for outstanding performance in my structural analysis & design modules. -In July 2019, together with 3 of my female classmates from university, we won 1st place in the Engineers Without Borders: Engineering For People Design Challenge which then gained us a further nomination for a Young Innovators award.
