Founder and CEO of a number of technology companies, proudly growing these ventures from start up to companies able to innovate and to evolve according to market and customer requirements. Leveraging continuously advancing technologies and hard core engineering has been key strategies. These companies have been responsible for a number of ‘firsts’ in the world, an example being the very first portable, handheld payment terminal designed and manufactured for First National Bank way back in the mid 90’s. Other global first’s were in the mobile biometrics space, the RFID space, and in elections technologies. I promote the attitude of ‘nothing is impossible’. This positive attitude helps us to succeed when delivering challenging technology based solutions, such as when we have to take a wish list specification through development to mass production with happy, satisfied users, but with tight budgets and a short time line. Electrically powered vehicles (EV's) are of major interest to me. Accordingly I have multiple patent pending solutions for the EV sector with more to follow. A new development engagement is in the agritech sector combining robotics and artificial intelligence solutions resulting in a number of further patent applications. Another area of special interest is Agritech. A further area of interest is renewable energy resulting in the supply of these solutions to the United Nations for more than 10 countries in the past 12 months. The countries are located in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
