PhD physicist with extensive experience in analysing large data samples coming from the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN using large distributed computing facilities. Solid experience with statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulation techniques. Strong experience in software development using different programming languages (C,C++ and python). Proven problem solving skills and ability to collaborate and work in a team on multi-disciplinary projects. My research interest is focused on the study of the interaction of heavy quarks in the hot and dense QCD medium called Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) which is created in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. The system created in heavy ion collisions is a computationally challenging environment due to the larger number of particles produced in each collision. Therefore, these studies require the use of advanced cut optimisation and machine learning techniques to maximise the signal to noise ratio.
