Gianluca Malavolta

Gianluca Malavolta / London, UK Portrait photographer born in Modena (Italy), I approached photography at young age, starting to shoot for music venues as well as diplomas ceremonies and private commissions. This early experience fostered autonomy in me and taught me how to work professionally with customer and manage contact relationships. Hereafter i needed to provide myself with a space as the volume of clients raised. I bought professional equipments to set up a photo studio meanwhile consolidating a network of contacts. I had contracts for weddings, clothing brands and photoshoots for various companies. Among the most relevant collaboration there is the catalogue for the Military Academy of Modena and the most recent participation with the House of Ikons for the London Fashion Week. However, I kept working on collaborations and personal projects during my whole career. I am defining my photographic style mainly through glamour and fashion. This pushed me to engage and work with fashion bloggers, hair stylists, make up artists and fashion designers. Through the Hundreds of photoshoots undertaken, I learnt how to manage a whole session with outstanding professionalism. I am now based in London to mature my practice in a competitive and stimulating environment.
