Gianluca Mangione

Currently pursuing a B.S in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. Highly interested in entering the Economics, Politics and Marketing field in the future.Since becoming a student at Northeastern University I have been heavily involved in a variety of different projects alongside faculty. I am particularly concerned with the urgent Venezuelan Humanitarian Crisis and have written reports on the current situation to different Ambassadors from a variety of countries and U.S Senators. During the COVID-19 Pandemic I was a part of the crisis management team, responsible for aiding Venezuelans within Panamanian territory during the quarantine. Working for the Embassy of Venezuela in Panama which was designated by Interim President Juan Guaido and recognized by the government of Panama, reinforced my desire to work in politics and the public sector, to help as many people as possible.Having lived in a variety of countries within the Americas (Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama), has made adapting to new environments and meeting new people one of my major strengths, that I have transferred into my professional experience.
