Innovative growth-orientated and empathetic senior leader with a passion for developing people, services and organisations. I have accrued over 30 years of leadership and management experience in the third sector and military and have been fortunate to be able to train, coach and mentor individuals, teams and organisations, often in challenging environments, in the UK and overseas. My expertise and experience spans from leadership and management development to strategy development and organisational design & development, and service / capability development. I have been a qualified coach since 2016 and supported individuals in the financial services, heritage and charity sectors. My mentoring experience reaches back into my military service, but in recent years I have been a student mentor on the Nottingham University Alumni mentoring scheme. As a doctoral student at the University of Bath I have research interests in social value and wellbeing, both subjects that have increasing importance for business in addressing sustainability challenges, ESG considerations and contract tendering.
