I’ve achieved numerous accomplishments and have made valuable contributions to support business growth and organization goals.In 2019, life circumstances led me to a higher focus on my own mind-body-spirit wellness and led to a burning desire to leave the corporate world to pursue my passions and fulfill my life purpose. On June 1, 2019, I stepped in as Executive Director of NASH kNOWledge, a nonprofit organization founded by my father after his own personal battle with NAFLD and NASH that progressed to non-alcoholic cirrhosis and liver cancer, resulting in a life-saving transplant in 2018. With this newfound purpose and passion I now have the opportunity to help raise more awareness and provide more education of this silent epidemic, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.With NASH kNOWledge, our goal is to raise more awareness of fatty liver disease and educate others on the importance of a healthy diet and regular physical activity to improve liver health.On a personal note....After leaving Corporate America, coupled with many other big life changes and challenges and then the whammy of COVID, I hit a rock bottom that I didn't know existed but by the grace and mercy of God I have bounced back better than ever and in my free time I enjoy spreading the Gospel and being a light of hope while driving for Lyft, praying for my riders, passing out Life Recovery Bible, and just sharing my own personal testimony of how Jesus pulled me out of the darkness of addiction, depression, suicidal ideation and an abusive relationship after my divorce when I was in a very vulnerable state.
