Gizelle Huynh, PHR

Currently, has over 15 years of experience in the different facets of Human Resources, including providing human resources consultation, developing policies and procedures, managing disability programs, recruitment, performance management, labor relations, training, conducting investigations, and employee engagement. In her present role, Gizelle is the HR Manager for the City of Union City and is responsible for developing and implementing Policies and Procedures. In her role, she provides consultation and information to both management and employees. Currently, she provides guidance to leadership and non-management personnel in resolving work related problems, ensuring a balance between employee needs and organizational goals. Gizelle is a California native who completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara with a double Major in Communication and Psychology and a double minor in Education and History. She furthered her education by completing her Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She also holds and maintains the PHR and CPDM.
