I am currently looking for employment in the Finance and Accounting industry. This is a field that I have a keen interest in, and within the last two years I have been completing training and qualifications to gain a strong foundation and knowledge around the finance industry. Throughout my professional career I have been responsible for a variety of businesses ranging from Catering to employment, training and development. Within these companies, as a member of management, I have been responsible for a variety of duties within the finance department. This has included such duties as Cash Reconciliation, Banking, Weekly & Monthly Paperwork working to pre-set Budgets & Projections, Stocktaking, Dealing with Invoices, Calculating Gross Profit Margins & Payroll. To gain a better knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting practices I undertook an Accounting Technician Diploma with Pitman Training and IAB level 2 in Computerised Accounting for Business which I completed in my own time to learn the skills required to be able to do this as a full time Career. This will enable me to enter into my next role with a strong foundation, and working knowledge of Manual Bookeeping, Data Entry into accounting systems such as Sage, VAT & Tax calculations and submissions. I believe that I would be an asset to my next employer and their company. I have always given my all in every job role and task that I have undertaken, and would consider myself a hardworking, loyal individual, therefore from my next role I am looking to build a long and successful career, gaining as much knowledge and relevant experience to ensure that I am efficient in this job role and the industry in general. I have an Enhanced Disclosure (CRB) & Full Clean Driving License. I am also a non-smoker.
