ABOUT MEI have over 30 years practical experience in coal handling and processing with a full spectrum of technical, engineering, maintenance and operations responsibilities. I have extensive managerial experience of coal preparation plants, from operations to capital upgrades, including a total of 9 years as Plant Statutory Manager under NSW Coal Mines Regulation Act legislation at Bulga and Liddell.My most most recent consulting experience in the coal processing industry involved design and feasibility studies for various EPCM projects. I also served in the roles of Design Manager and Commissioning Manager in domestic and overseas Execution phase projects for QCC Resources.I have published papers that include “Development of the Bulga CPP and Materials Handling Systems” (for the 7th Australian Coal Preparation Conference (ACPC)), “Design, Construction and Commissioning of the CHPP at Stockton Mine, New Zealand” (13th ACPC), and more recently, co-authoring and presenting “Upgrading and Commissioning of the Drayton CTU” (14th ACPC).
