About
I work for the House of Commons, joining the House Service in 2018. I joined as a constitutional law and Brexit specialist in the Research team (the Commons Library) and now head up a cross-cutting “Hub” involving both Research and Committee teams. I also served (in 2020-21) as a policy specialist for the Joint Committee on the Fixed-term Parliaments Act.Before joining Parliament, I worked in the civil service as a devolution policy specialist in the Department for Work and Pensions.Away from work, I am a Partick Thistle fan, a poor but enthusiastic Sunday cricketer, an atrocious recreational golfer and something of a tech enthusiast.I serve as a Director and Secretary on The Jags Foundation Board. It is part of the fan ownership vehicle for Partick Thistle Football Club, and its largest supporters organisation ever, with over 1600 members.
