Graeme Hobbs

I am the Chair of the Smith Institute, a company specialising in solving complex problems for businesses and governments by applying mathematical thinking and techniques, with expert insight to support informed decision making and reduce risk. I am the Chair of the Blue Lamp Trust which provides free of charge support to Hampshire's vulnerable by securing their homes, providing advice on cyber security and fire prevention, with funds raised by driver training, taxi driver assessment and corporate sponsorship. I recently completed my 6 year term as lay member of Council and Chair of the Audit Committee at the University of Southampton. I am an experienced senior executive and engineer in the telecommunications industry, with a demonstrable track record in understanding and resolving complex issues. I have proven business development, networking and influencing skills, with senior relationships built within both Industry and key UK Government departments.
