Grant Krogmann

My name is Grant Krogmann, I have worked as a Field Crew Chief in the surveying field for almost seven years out of upstate New York with two different companies; VanDusen and Steves PLS and Dickinson Associates PLS. I have experience in deep woods and big acreage jobs while subcontracted by Open Space Institute along with Subdivision surveys, road stakeout, and construction layout. I have surveyed for numerous Railroads including CSX, Canadian Pacific, and Vermont Central along with others. I have also led survey operations on the biggest state run Super Fund Project in New York State; GE Dredging Project on the Hudson River. I have experience with Trimble R8 GPS units, Trimble S3/S6 robotic Instruments and also Leica Robotic total stations and trace amounts of AutoCad. I have a deep understanding and respect for survey accuracy and a commitment to high satisfaction. Surveying has come a long ways from its roots of chains and plumb bobs, to a highly sophisticated, technologically advanced art form.
