A qualified certificate 4 boilermaker and mechanical fitter with vast experience in construction, shutdowns, projects and surface and underground mining in coal and metalliferous fixed plant and mobile. Proven competencies with 20 plus years’ experience in the fabrication, repair, modification and maintenance of plant/equipment in heavy industry. Can competently interpret isometric drawings and p and id's and fabricate to strict specifications and tolerances. I am a very competent and experienced pipefitter working on pipelines and LNG construction projects i have worked on a variety of pipes including copper nickel, stainless steels, chromemoly and carbon steel pipe of various diameters and thicknesses. Competencies include working at heights and operating elevated work platforms basic riggers and dogger excavator and loader. Am proficient in Stick and Mig welding techniques and procedures. Advanced ability in the operation/maintenance of any type of workshop machinery and equipment. Excellent attention to detail. Safety aware applicant accustomed to working in zero harm environments following principles found in JSA, risk assessment/documentation practices. Recognises Workplace Health and Safety considerations as an absolute and non negotiable. Will commit to any FIFO/DIDO work rosters. I have also gained a vast knowledge in the pre commissioning area and the operation of hydrostatic testing equipment from pumps to compressors to drying and pushing pigs and hydrogen leak testing and the set up and construction of all equipment
