Greg Newton

Greg leads the software engineering efforts for Asurion's Soluto premium tech help business. Under his leadership, his team recently drove the next-generation upgrade of our internal customer engagement platform called “Soluto Connect,” which helps Asurion tech experts provide faster, more accurate technical support and technical problem resolution for our clients’ customers. This, in turn, has led to a better overall experience for customers. Greg joined Asurion’s Technology organization in 2013 as senior director of application development and delivery for Asurion’s Soluto premium tech help product. His team developed and maintained the technical product roadmap and work with project portfolio management to ensure quality control for all Soluto-related projects. Prior to joining Asurion, Greg led software development teams in the technology industry, including start-ups, mid-sized and Fortune 100 companies. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
