Gregory Romano

Greg works on federal and state regulatory, legislative, and legal issues. He leads a central team that helps support advocacy efforts across jurisdictions (including state legislative and regulatory bodies, the US Congress, and federal agencies including the FCC) on various issues, including infrastructure, privacy, public safety, transactions, net neutrality, consumer protection, and wireless spectrum. Greg shares time between Verizon's operational headquarters in New Jersey and its policy office in Washington, DC. He has held a number of legal and regulatory jobs within Verizon at various locations, including serving as General Counsel for the Northwest region, and for the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West regions. Greg and his wife Molly have two teenage children, Katelin and Will. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Somerset County YMCA, where he chairs the Board Governance committee and is very proud of the Y's extensive community programs.
