Griet has been passionate about sports all her life. As an ex-top athlete (volleyball), Master Physical Education and Trainer A Volleyball, she is still passionated about sports today. CrossFit, running, cycling,...keeps her going. She worked for several years in the pharmaceutical industry and later as a salesmanager in different sectors from sportsequipment to green energy. But since 2012 she has focused on future research in sports. First as project manager for the realization of the Sportsinnovation Campus in Bruges and currently as a sports innovation consultant at TomorrowLab. In this role she guides Sport Vlaanderen in their interesting journey towards a future-oriented sports policy in Flanders.
