Guido Eidmann has been Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG since August 2017. In this position he is responsible for the IT strategy and the digitalisation of the company. Prior to this function Guido Eidmann worked as the company’s Managing Director Service Technology. Guido Eidmann joined the E-Plus Group in 2013. As CIO he was responsible for several IT strategy and restructuring programmes. After the merger, among other duties, he steered the transformation and integration of all IT units. Before 2013 he worked for ten years in the consulting company relycon management, of which he was co-founder, leading numerous major projects in several technological industries, several of which at Telefónica Deutschland. Guido Eidmann was well acquainted with the former company of Telefónica Deutschland, O2 Germany or Viag Interkom respectively, from its very start: From 1998 to 2002 he worked there in different functions – most recently as Head of Department of the Competence Center Billing, with focus on Billing, Revenue Assurance and Customer Risk Management.
