I was once told that I cannot save the world in one day which was quite confusing for me at the time, but as time went on I understood that I may not be able to save the world in one day, but one day the world can surely be saved with my contribution! All I have to do is take it one day at a time. I am open to all kinds of new journeys in which I can gain experience from; although, my comfort zone has always been particularly working with children, but after working with adults, I am open to all ages and genders. I have learned and realized that my passion has grown to a more specific area of educational and developmental psychology where I want to work with people with disability, vulnerable individuals, or anyone with developmental delay. I was a shy, naive, introvert girl: however, with experience & some confidence, I have grown and am a better version of who I am. My time at Kwantlen Polytechnic University helped me reach my potential and showed a side of me that I did not know existed through volunteer, work, and public speaking. I eventually graduated with a B.A degree in Psychology with a Minor in Counselling. Even though I have completed an academic education, I believe that there is no stop to education and we continue to learn from our surrounding. I learn each day where each task can be rewarding through the skills and knowledge gained. Hence, I seek any opportunity and continue with full force. I am motivated to strive towards success through hard work and education which has been showcased within all my experiences. In fact, my contribution was rewarded through a leadership award that showcased my volunteer work on and off campus. In fact, I have worked with all ages & acknowledge that my hard work will eventually lead me to a successful future. My end goal is to put a smile on someone's face. The experiences that I gained has taught me so much about myself as well as made my end goal clear. My experiences have helped me find my goal and passion. Hence, any perspective opportunity that is flexible or that I can see myself commit to doing then I shall try it. Its a long journey and who knows what will happen so wait and see what the future holds for me. Some of my traits include: Adaptable, Asistant, Empathetic, Facilitator, Flexible, Hard Worker, Instructor, Leader, Learner, Mentee, Mentor, Observer, Patient, Role Model, & Team Player.
