Guy Jamieson is a producer/director working in the Australian animation industry that has worked in near all facets of production over the last 20 years. Starting in ink and paint moving through design, animation, teaching and commercial production management. Five years ago he founded an animation studio that went on to win multiple awards for commercial, educational and short film work. In late 2015, bitten by the animated series bug, Guy began actively developing his own concepts and working with writers to develop theirs. Seeing a lack in access to information on series development, Guy felt moved to create the Sydney Animation Production Group; Aiming to empower artists and writers in Sydney with the tools needed to develop and pitch their own animated series. Now with almost 500 members from around Sydney, Guy invites Series Producers and Directors from leading studios around Sydney to come and share their secrets with the group.In 2015 Guy created Poke The Bear, an animation studio on the central coast, where he continues to produce commercial work and develop animated series.
