With a background in investment management and degrees in International Business and Banking and Finance, I possess very sound financial acumen, extensive expertise in overseeing investment operations for all asset classes, and a solid understanding of how to lead strategic M&A activities. As Chief Investment Officer of Tamer Investment, I play a significant role in advising a local and international family office to invest in companies and all asset classes globally, such as equities, fixed income, real estate, and private market funds. I have a proven record of accomplishment in formulating innovative ideas and strategic plans, then turning them into effective operational practice while steering through complicated issues and barriers. I was also responsible for establishing a regional fragrance distribution and e-pharma business in Saudi Arabia and UAE and leading a sizeable portfolio of investments locally and globally. I am capable of fostering effective partnerships and negotiating mutually beneficial arrangements. I use sound judgement and strong focus to achieve business aims and objectives. Over the past four years with the Tamer Group and Tam Capital, I have directed strategic acquisitions and orchestrated several M&A activities in different sectors. Furthermore, I collaborated regularly with custodians, prime brokers, placement agents, fund managers, and other managers. I am an experienced humanitarian, the Founder and President of Salus Foundation, a non-profit organisation established to support community initiatives across food security, healthcare and education.
