Sustainability Manager at the Mineral Products Association (MPA). Responsible for concrete products' sustainability aspects, including embodied carbon, carbon measurement, responsible sourcing, circular economy and the sector's sustainability strategy and Sustainability Charter. I also support British and European standards development on the sustainability of construction works. I represent MPA and MPA Precast members' interests in a number of committees: - Member of the Construction Products Association Sustainability Committee. - Member of the BIBM (Federation of the European Precast Concrete Industry) Environmental Commission. - Member of the BIBM (Federation of the European Precast Concrete Industry) Wastewater (drainage products) Commission. - Member of the European Concrete Platform ASBL “Sustainable Concrete” Task Group. - Member of a number of UK Concrete committees and Secretary of its Carbon Measurement & EPD Task Group. - Secretary of the MPA Precast & MPA Masonry Sustainability & Environment Committee (SEC). - Member of a number of task groups supporting the update of LETI’s (London Energy Transformation Initiative) Embodied Carbon Primer (2020). - Member of the Green Construction Board – Infrastructure carbon Practitioners committee (2018-2019). - Member of CEN standard committee TC229/ WG5 (Sustainability of Construction Works - Product Category Rules for concrete). - Member of BSI standard committee B/558 Sustainability of Construction Works (BSI’s mirror committee to CEN TC350). - Member of CEN standard committee TC350/ WG1 (Sustainability of Construction Works) directly responsible for EN 15978-1 and other relevant standards and Technical Reports. - Papers-only Member of BSI B/524 Precast Concrete Products (BSI’s mirror Committee to CEN TC229).
