Essential Responsibilities • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows OS, troubleshooting skills • Experience in Microsoft Windows Cluster with Microsoft SQL Servers 2000–2019 • Excellent technical experience with installing, configuring and supporting SQL database servers • Proven track record managing SQL Server instances in standalone, clustered, physical and virtual configurations • Experience with SQL Server performance tuning in all environments and T-SQL programming • Experience with High Availability Disaster Recovery-HADR (Replication, Mirroring, AlwaysON, Availability Groups) • Experience with SQL Server backup/restore, transactions, optimizing query plan cache, database security, maintenance plans • Experience with multi-dimensional and tabular data model structures in SSIS packages, SSRS, PowerBI • Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP using SSAS • High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques and their applications • Experience with Windows scripting Knowledge & Experience in Details: • Manage and operate a medium and large-sized production database systems across multiple data centers • Strong knowledge and experience with computer hardware including servers, networks, SAN technologies, I/O subsystems • Experience with DBMS platforms: MS SQL Server on Windows Operating Systems • Install, service packs, configure, deploy and maintenance database servers (SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016 and above) both standalone and clustered • Experience with High Availability (Mirroring, AlwaysOn, FailOver, Replication, Availability Groups) to ensure the continuity of the databases • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, configuring, securing and monitoring, troubleshooting of the databases • Provide direct operational manage across all areas of the production database infrastructure including standalone and clustered database, database replication, release management and disaster planning • Perform database potential vulnerabilities on database servers • Deep understanding of T-SQL development and tuning • Automate routine tasks and leverage scripting to reduce work load • Ensure database integrity, stability and optimize queries, troubleshoot database errors, use of data migration tools • Perform all database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure continued availability and performance • Maintain the overall database integrity and quality via data auditing, system checks and code value management • Hands-on on DB conceptual design, logical design, physical design and work with Development Teams with Regards to database updates and design
