An experienced IT professional with strong background in analysis, design, development and system implementation. I have been involved in Retail projects of various sizes, platforms and countries for over 25 yrs. For the last thirteen years my primary work has been in Dynamics Nav with focus on Retail and customisation of Navision and LS Retail. This has included the hospitality and fitness market where I have designed and developed solutions that have been used by market leaders in Iceland for over 10 years. I have been a key person in a number of major LS Retail and Navision implementations in Iceland and abroad over the last 10 years. Prior to that I have worked on and held positions in large Retail/Oracle projects in Asia and Australia. I have considerable experience with sql databases, including Microsoft and Oracle. I have worked with a host of client database connection frameworks/libraries as well as many database management, data migration and BI data tools. I thrive on challenging myself with new technologies and discovering new and better ways of solving problems and presenting solutions. I am a fluent speaker of English, having lived in the US for 4 years and a few years Asia/Australia. I have been involved in development of software for Apple devices since 1992 and have for the last 3 years been designing and developing business software for iOS devices, both pads and phones. During this phase I have acquired considerable skills and knowledge in various tools, libraries, languages and technologies related to iOS development.
